his was taken down at Lands End in Cornwall with Pat Di Fruscia in September. We had been on the cliff tops for a few hours waiting for a sunset that was never going to happen! It became more and more moody as a storm rolled in off the Atlantic coast. This shot was taken as it was getting quite dark, so resorted to a very long exposure of 180 seconds at F16. While lightning was striking every now and then it was pure luck that it hit at this place while I took my image, because compositionally its in just about the most perfect location. As well as the lightning I really love the dark brooking stormy clouds overhead and the shadows they are placing over the sea
